There Is No One Way To Do Life

I think it's safe to say that we have all compared ourselves to somebody else at one point in our life. It's kind of impossible not to with social media in our face all day, everyday.

I, personally, struggle with it a lot. Especially being in a place in my life right now where there is a lot of unknown. I am constantly worrying about whether or not I should be where I am at this point in my life, as I am about to be 30. HOWEVER.. a little reminder for you AND ME... when you feel yourself starting to compare you or your life to others.. Remember these things:

There is no ONE right way to do life.

Be happy for others.

When you start to feel yourself comparing.. turn that into motivation. Think about things you are wanting to change or fix to fit your life.

STOP SCROLLING. Seriously, put the phone down and walk away.

Love yourself. Look yourself in the mirror. You is kind. You is smart. You is important.

I feel like I have said this multiple times whether it be an Instagram post or blog post but, trust the process.. trust in the fact that you are where you are in life for a reason.

Learn to be comfortable being uncomfortable. If you want something different or a change, it's your life, make it happen.

"Comparison is the thief of joy." Theodore Roosevelt

  3. Totally agree with the points you have shared here. Being happy for who you are and what you are is the best thing to be happy in life. Amazing thought.
