Beginner's Guide to Columbia - Lots of Food, Another Cat, and a Tour!

Happy Monday, friends! It's that time again. Had a blast this weekend checking out some new places and even welcomed a new addition to the kitty family!

Friday night we made it downtown and ate at Cantina 76! We had their Dirty Queso and it was so damn good! Any time there is queso on the menu, I am ordering it. Wasn't able to get really great photos since it was super dark so you're just going to have to you use your imagination! Think queso, shredded chicken, refried beans, pico, sour cream and sriracha! YUM!!

Saturday we made it out of the house to run some errands and we were going to check out Craft and Draft's 5 Year Anniversary Party but ended up checking out the Caturday Adoption Event at Petsmart instead! Brought home this little fire cracker!

We haven't named her yet but are super excited for Kitty Boy to have a friend to play with now that he has a lot more space to run around! He doesn't look all too thrilled in the photo up there but I promise he is being the sweetest angel and having the best time playing with his new friend! She is awesome and being really social and playful with him, too!

We also ate a yummy breakfast at BLD Diner and enjoyed their Avocado Benedict and Egg Benedict!  Their mimosas were really good and I loved the whole vibe!

Finally on Sunday, we made our way to Robert Mills House and Gardens for a tour! Every 3rd Sunday they do $1 tours and I found this event on Facebook! Can't beat a $1 tour, right? Incase you're not familiar with Robert Mills (I wasn't either before I found this event), he is a South Carolina architect and you can learn about him right here

And I can't forget Sunday lunch at Urban Cookhouse! More chips with CHEESE! It was so good!

It was a weekend full of yummy food and cats, need I say more? Looking forward to sharing more with you! Hope everyone has a great week!

Xoxo, M
